MSI R9 280 or (insert better alternative)

I'm building a new PC and I plan on purchasing my graphics card this week. As of now it's the MSI R9 280 as it was $10 more expensive than a GTX 760 ($259.99 plus tax). It was $269.99 plus tax (7%) which made it $288.88 Currently, it on sale on Amazon for $229.99 plus tax which makes it $246.08. I know this should be a no brainer but I want more opinions. I thank you in advance for replying. :)

well the 280 has better ddr5 and lets face it AMD does gaming and does performance on a budget.

they are different architecture and both have strengths and weaknesses but i am a AMD video card buff that loves the GCN architecture so i vote on the 280.
