So the other night my son got mad at me and decided to put parental controls on my PC. He made a new Admin Account and then made my account a normal user. What can I do? I was wondering if I could rollback my PC before he made changes and that would make it go away.

Solution
#1. Be a parent, and tell your son to fix it right now, otherwise no dessert for a month.

#2. Assuming he had admin privileges and then locked you out of the admin account, you will need the admin password to re-gain access. If you can still access the admin account, you can make yourself a member of the administrators group by going into Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > User Accounts. You will see an option to "Change account type".

like above said be a parent! threat him to unlock it or else you have the right to break his stuff and kick him out of your house. f**k child abused, beat crap out of him

Please don't suggest illegal acts. It's really not a good option - SS

I said no dessert, not beat the crap out of him. But hey, to each his own.

I do not have access to the admin account anymore. He made my account a standard user. I tried to activate the hidden admin account but I got error 5. I think that means no access or something. I have tried. He will not give up the password. I have grounded him but hes a teenager and doesn't really care.

Unfortunately, we can't really help with specifics in bypassing the security, because of the whole mess around proof it's yours. Sorry.

Your best option would be to either take it to where you purchased it (or another computer shop) with proof of identity and purchase, or threaten to confiscate stuff and remove privileges. I suspect he'd back down pretty quickly if being grounded included no cellphone or internet connection...
