PC Hangs When Launching Games

Hello, I've had much help from this forum with regards to past issues. So, here I am yet again with another. About one week ago I experienced some crashing from a newly installed game; Wildstar. I got an error message stating that the "memory could not be written" and it gave a 0x00000 type of location for the error. This happened two or three times before it got worse. Now, I am unable to launch any game without my monitors going blank and then showing solid colors. One will turn yellow, the other pink, or sometimes green and purple. It depends on which game I'm trying to play. The audio will also hang when this happens. The computer is unresponsive and must be hard reset. The other thing that has accompanied this issue is that all screens leading up to the desktop (mobo screen, error screen, windows loading screen) flicker, as if the refresh rate is off. I have tried running malware bytes, c cleaner, and uninstalling/cleaning and reinstalling gpu drivers with no luck. I also tried repairing all of my games, which did not help. One thing I noticed when reinstalling gpu drivers is that once I uninstalled the drivers even the desktop screen was acting as though the refresh rate was off. This stopped, but only for the desktop, once I restarted after the drivers were installed. I don't have the money to buy any new parts at the time so I would appreciate any help in the mean time. I will be running memtest all day tomorrow while I'm at work and will report if there are any issues. I will list my build below.

cpu: Intel core i5 4670k @ 3.4ghz
ram: 8g DDR3 (can't remember brand or speed, and cpu-z isn't showing it either)
board: gigabyte z87x-ud4h
gpu: evga 650 ti boost
psu corsair tx650m
OS: win 7 ultimate 64 bit
case: corsair 350D (stock fans)
hdd: seagate 500gb for OS, 250 for music DAWs/files, 1.5tb for games, and 3tb for media
drive: blu ray burner

Okay, turns out the culprit was the monitor I was using for games. I was given a free Westinghouse tv because one of my monitors died. It works okay for everything but gaming. I was planning on buying a new monitor later this month so it should all work out. Either the monitor was having issues or my video card didn't like hdmi to that monitor.
memory info be under cpu-z memory tab. check with the power off both dimms still locked in. run memtest frm a boot disk or usb stick over night see if there a bad ram stick. if it not the ram on the mb then there may be a bad ram on the gpu. yu may want to see if there any gpu ram tester software on the net. if it is your gpu yu can pull it and run with the onboard video till you can rma it to the vendor for a replacement.

Under the memory tab, it just says 8080MBytes, and the rest of the general/timings areas are greyed out. Is this bad? I will post the memtest results tomorrow and I will search for a gpu memory test as well.

EDIT: just found CUDA GPU memtest and will try that tomorrow after running normal memtest.
