vegas pro hdd problem

so every time i try and render to one of my hard drives at the end it comes up with invalid device specifed. for this reason i now can not batch render as it will render the first video and then the rest will fail. is this my hard drives or the software

You could try uninstalling and reinstalling Vegas to see if Vegas is the problem. Have you checked for updates to Vegas? Are you able to store files on the drive or drives in question without any problem? If you are able to store other files on the drive or drives without any problems then I suspect it could be a Vegas related issue.
