Simple question ; which is better in terms of :
Life
Performance
Boot times ( less than 10 secs if possible )
I'm planning on getting two of either one of these , the corsair ssd fits the theme of my build ( black red ) and is a bit faster from what i've read , but i wanted to be sure if the corsair ssd is the fastest and the greatest in terms of life time

the samsung 840 evo has good read/write speeds. I own a samsung 840 evo 120gb, the boot time was around 8-10 seconds. The samsung 840 evo is a good ssd and i highly recommend it. Not sure of the corsair force gs.

I'd go with the Samsung. Great read writes all through.

I'm using Corsair LS series 240GB SSD and Samsung 840 Evo 250GB. Samsung Evo has better boot time than the Corsair LS series SSD. You'll be much better off with Samsung Evo series SSD than Corsair GS series.

So 3vs0 , guess i'll go for the 840 evo
But how does the RAPID mode work ?
Btw i'm getting two 240gb samsung ssd's , and maybe put them in raid0 , but i'll have to do my research on that i don't even know how to do it , all i know is that it increases performance of the ssd

You can create RAID in the BIOS of your mobo. For rapid mode, you would have to use their software Samsung Magician.

Ok , i thought i had to go into the bios and modify some settings
But what does raid0 do and how does it improve performance ?

I changed my mind , I think that one 500gb ssd is better than two 250gb ssd's in raid0
Thanks for the help :)
