Should I get Windows 7 or windows 8 for gaming PC build?

This is my PC build

ASROCK Z87-EXTREME4 MOTHERBOARD
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (4x2GB) 1600MHz with XMP 1.3
SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W 80 PLUS BRONZE
Corsair Carbide 300R Black Mid-Tower Gaming Case with Side Window

    Get a windows 8. It will get more software and security updates in the future than windows 7
  2. Its a matter of personal preference, however Windows 8.1 improves performance in some games, eg: Battlefield 4, due to support for DirectX 11.2 and better multi-core utilisation.
