Shutting off the XFX R9 290 White "XFX" LED Logo

Ive been looking all over and I dont know how to shut this off. I can unplug the cable is the only thing I found, but I dont know if that would be safe and also I dont know if the cable Im seeing is the right one...

Only images I found that gives me an idea.

So any other suggestions? I'd just like to shut it off when I want it off and turn it on when I want it on lol

You can shut it off. Open the fan cover and unscrew 4 knots on the heatsink. You'll see there are 2 power lines. One goes to the fan, and the other one goes to LED. You can unplug the one that goes to the LED light and it won't light up anymore. Wish I could attach a picture for you to see here.
