Hello guys ! I'm looking forward to build myself a new gaming pc. However, my budget isn't that great, actually I know is pretty small for a true gaming rig but hell yeah I think I'll be able to play most of the games with something like 600 USD / 360 GBP / 450 EUR / whatever... I'm from Romania and I'll also buy from Romania and here the prices are quite high .So... I don't what what to do. First of all I'm sorry for my broken English, here in Eastern Europe the English language is quite new so I'm still learning haha !

In that budget I also want a 1080p monitor, something like 21.5 inch from Acer.I want to be able to play most of the games on 1920 x 1080. I don't really care for details (hell, I used to play on a Core 2 Duo integrated so...), low / medium / high... All I want is good FPS, and I think anything over 30 is perfect. I want to play games like Civilization V, GTA IV (and hopefully V ), Battlefield 3 / 4, Starcraft 2, Company of Heroes 2, Fifa 14 / 15 ( I heard that they are launching a new graphic engine for 15), Football Manager and all the new games, Watch Dogs ( I think that's a hard one ), The Division, The Witcher 3.

Of coures this PC will also be used for movies, web, office, music but especially for gaming. I know an i5 Haswell is probably the best CPU for gaming nowdays but it's quite expensive so It's out of my league. Now I don't know what to choose from Pentium G3220, Athlon X4 750K and FX 6300.

The pentium will give me more money for 1TB HDD , a better PSU and a better case but It's a Dual Core and I don't know if in 2014 a dual core is a good choice. With the Athlon I'll have a quad core but from what I've read this one is quite slow in single / dual core applications and many games still only use 2 cores even if newer games use more than that for sure. Also with thix CPU I'll chose a better GPU, a R7 260X . Another thing is that with Athlon I'll chose a FM2+ mobo with USB 3.0 and Sata III (a mATX one ) while with FX-6300 I'll have way better performance with 6 cores and L3 cache but again I'll have to downgrade the GPU and from what I've heard (read) the AM3+ socket is dead (no future CPU ).

Here you have some of my wishlists. Keep in mind that the prices are in LEI (RON, whatever, Romanian currency) and they must be within 2000 RON.

http://www.pcgarage.ro/vizualizare-wishlist/902252/ - Dual core Intel

http://www.pcgarage.ro/vizualizare-wishlist/902259/ - Quad core AMD

http://www.pcgarage.ro/vizualizare-wishlist/902269/ - Six cores AMD

So... what to chose and why ? Speaking in terms of current performance / future performance, future improvements ( new GPU, CPU ), prices...

La variantele tale cea mai mare problema e placa de baza pe amd care risti sati ia foc la procurile alea.

Sry for not using english but the build can still be seen.

Adding a monitor at that price point will kill your build. Its not enough to buy a decent pc in my opinion. Your only choice is to not buy the cooler and only go for 4gb of ram. That leaves you about 250 RON that you can use to buy a second hand monitor from dataspot/around.ro/okazii. First 2 are reliable companies i've bought used stuff in the past. Going intel at this price point is also a bad idea.

From what I've read on other forums Super Flower is quality. However guys, thing is that I don't want to spend more than 600 USD on a PC 'cause things are moving verry fast and in a few years what is now cutting edge will be ancient so no point in overspending. So, can somebody tell me which CPU is better ? G3220 or X4 750K + R7 260X or FX 6300 + R7 250X.
