Hello, it has been since I have built a desktop. I need help finding the right "Slim" case to fitthe following:
Proc:4930k
GPU: GTX780
MOBO: Asus x79
HDD + SSDs: 6
1 optical drive.

I need cas big enough to fit the above yet as slim as possible. Also a case that is easy to work with (not cramped)

Your help is appreciated.

If Optical Drive is necessary to what you do, and you write and copy CD's a lot (or if you want to have something other in the external bays), here is other cases with external bays:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-case-caph410b1 - NZXT Phantom 410 (Black)

otherwise lose the hassle of Optical Drive, and get portable Optical Drive (plug and play, best ones).
So that you can just plug one, whenever you...

Asus X79-DELUXE Motherboard - Intel X79

Cooler have not decided yet. Thinking Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO but unsure yet.

The 212 evo stands 159mm tall so you wont get a slim case to fit that , for a slim case, that will limit you to
the height of your cooler and you will have to opt for a low profile cooler
would a spacious compact case be better for you such as the coolermaster hafxb evo
11-119-265-TS

or is there a specific reason you want a slim case

@mickypheonix I need case slim as I have limited space under desk. The coolermaster hafxb evo looks like a possible option.

@KryssNova the site says NZXT H440 has no space for 5.25 optical drive. I assume only 3.5 optical drives?

So that you can just plug one, whenever you need it, to all your PC's, notebooks, etc...even tablets.
If you do so, you can still take the NZXT H440, I proposed previously.
Though in it, there is no @External@ Bays, cause it's a silent type case, still very good air flow and cooling.

Also here is a list of Cases compatible with your motherboard and CPU cooler, if you want to search for cooler cases yourself:

@mickypheonix: a quick question regarding the evo case .. it is unclear how many drives in total it supports .. some places says 4 and others it says 8 (4 SSD and 4 HDD). Do you know how many in fact it supports as I will need total 6 (4 SSD and 2 HDD)

Thanks

Hey. That case, have 4 Internal 3.5 Bays (in each bay you can either mount a 2.5 or 3.5 SSD/HDD),
So you would be able to fit only 4 of them.
Here is: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/fractal-design-case-fdcadefr4tiw - Fractal Design R4 Titanium/w Window for 88 GBP.
It's very good case, very good reviewed by thousands of people.

Here are some other choices, that could fit you:
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-sgc2100kwn1
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-case-s210e001
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-case-caph410w1

with the Hafxb evo it supports
2 x 3.5 HDD in the front Xdocks
and you will be able to put your 4ssd's in the HDD cage.
It is a well constructed case , plenty of space and easy cable management , will give great airflow for your 780
the removable motherboard tray makes installation of your mobo and cooler a breeze.
One of the best cases i own , highly recommend it
