I have a very simple question. If I get an i7 with HD 4600 graphics + a dedicated video card would I get better graphic performance than using a Xeon processor without IGP + the same dedicated video card? I've been told than the integrated graphics work ONLY if you don't have a dedicated card, but I've read on a couple of places that some motherboards make it possible to stack the two GPUs and make them work together, ultimately achieving better performance. Is this really true? Since the only advantage of the i7 processor over the Xeon is the IGP, and the Xeon is somewhat cheaper than the i7, I prefer the Xeon, but if the IGP makes a difference in gaming, I'd go with the i7.
