Hello All Guys,
I have recently built up a RIG:
CPU: ASUS FX 8350
MOBO: ASUS M5A97 LE R 2.0
GPU: NVIDIA GTX520 silent, 2GB DDR 3
RAM: CORSAIR VENGENCE DDR 3 1X8 GB (1600MHz)
SMPS: CORSAIR VS 550

Now when I go to BIOS and check I find the RAM speed only showing to 1501 MHz somewhere speed and when I do drop down to check for 1600 MHz speed option is not there, instead 1700,2100,2000 is only available. Can you please tell me what is it all about and why my RAM Speed clock is not available in that list?

Best Regards,
Suman Pattnaik

Yes I have installed RAM (according to the MOBO manual) in DIMM A2(A1,A2,A3,A4 RAM Slots) for 8 GB RAM.

RAM runs at conservative SPD speed unless you manually set memory frequency or use D.O.C.P. (Dram Overclock Profile).

You can change A.I. Overclock Tuner to [Manual], then
set Memory Frequency to [DDR3-1600MHz], then
set DRAM Timing Control. Set the first four numbers beginning with CAS# Latency.
