For gaming with for example an MSI R9 270 graphics card and the following specs,

ASRock 970 Extreme3
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.80 gigahertz
4GB Ram
Windows 7 Home premium 64bit
on 1920x1080p

would this psu be good enough or is it not very reliable?

More about : fsp 750w silver certified psu good

750w would be enough for this build, and a silver certified psu would be great.

750w is overkill for that build , you only need 550w.

The extra could be maybe for future upgrades or just for more headroom.

He didn't mention that , and FSP has some good power supplies and some bad , we need the make and model for SPECS.

Silver has nothing to do with performance and it's an average supply , there are much better options out there.

Where are you buying from , Country.

It's basically because I might be able to get this psu for free and send back my powercool 750w. I could of course get a nicer psu for around the same money such as the Seasonic S12 620W I mentioned to you before, but if I could get this upgrade for free then if it's good enough I would save some money^^

I'm not looking at other psu's atm, I'm literally just asking right now, is it worth sending back the Powercool 750W to the shop I bought it from, and replacing it for free with the FSP 750W Silver, or not? :)

Thanks for your help guys

That is not much of an upgrade it terms of quality , get the Seasonic S12 620W , it has plenty of power and is a big jump up in quality.

Don't cut corners on the PSU it's the heart of your system.
