Hello everyone!
Few weeks ago I decided to clean my computer a bit, and since I don't have any air in the can, I took out few cotton buds and cleaned fan in my GTX 660 OC (that blue one with one fan). There was a lot of dust on it, and after cleaning it looked beautiful again. Few weeks after the cleaning, I started to notice some weird rattle noise when I was playing games, for example Battlefield 4 or Watch Dogs. My gpu sometimes hit 80 degrees when playing, which didn't happen before that much and I started to worry that I damaged my gpu.
(Also I checked fan after playing games. No dust on it and it didn't look like the fan is damaged. So maybe there is a problem under the fan?)

Can you please tell me, if this damage is caused by damaging fan, or is there anything else that I should check (screws, for example)?

Thank you!

Many clean with cotton buds! but less make sure to remove the residue left by them!,such as small strands which could maybe burn up and heat inside your GPU!,i suggest you remove the pcb in your gpu and take a nice look at if there are any strands of cotton or if there is anything obstructing your fan from its potential!,good luck!

Thank you for your fast response!
Weird thing is, that when I was cleaning my GPU, the cotton bud never left any residue, but I will have a look at it when I will have some time.
