Power PC on without motherboard power switch?

Hi guys;
Could i power a PC on without the motherboard power switch?

The easiest way is with a jumper, if your mobo has one. If not it is no big deal, just use anything metallic and conductive. I have used the end of a USB flash drive, a screwdriver and a scissors.

Don't be concerned about the electricity or the possibility of a shock. The voltage and amperage is extremely low and cannot hurt you.

Yes, newer motherboards have integrated power switches, else you can short the 2 metal pins where you can read Power + - on your motherboard using a screwdriver or metal piece.

my answer? no.. just a question..

HOW TO START UP A POWER SUPPLY UNIT WITHOUT A MOTHERBOARD
to be more specific.. : HOW TO START A POWER SUPPLY BY ONLY CONNECTING SOME OF ITS (PSU'S) PINS.. IVE HEARD THAT IT CAN BE DONE.. BUT WHICH TWO?

USE A JUMPER (A BENT PAPER CLIP WORKS WELL FOR THIS) TO SHORT THE GREEN WIRE WITH ANY BLACK WIRE (GROUND).
