How much shorter would FX-8350's life cycle be if it is overheating?

I read that a max FX-8350 temperature shouldn't be above 62C for cores or 70C for socket. But how long it can run if it will heat up to 70-80C? I'm just interested, cause my Arctic Cooling Freezer A30 can barely cool it, it is heating up to 60C (in warm days) or 62-66C in hot days in 15 minutes LinX 0.6.5 test. Can I overclock it, and will it run stable, and is there a major difference in running FX-8350 @ 65-70C for 12 hours a day when OC'd or @ 55-60 without OC'ing?

Solution
Not to worry.
Modern cpu chips will downclock or shut themselves off to prevent any damage from heat.
Your temps seem nominal.

You could overclock if you want.
Use occt to test. It will shut down if temps get too high.
Under normal usage, you will rarely run the cpu maxed out for very long.

You can't be certain, but it wont be very good for the processor and for some people overheating has affected the performance to a certain extent. I'd recommend you get a better cpu cooler, if you don't want to destroy that processor that is ;)

As a general rule, a transistor's lifespan is halved for ever 10C it runs hotter. CPUs are made up of transistors.

The A30 Freezer is nothing to sneeze at. If you are running your FX-8350 at stock, it should be able to keep it cool without sweating. What is the ambient temperature? What case do you have, with how many fans (and where)?
