Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation for a new PSU for my gaming rig. I've previously had some issues with the PSU connectors reaching their intended places on my MoBo. It's always a bit of a stretch to pull it off. Can anyone recommend a PSU with extra long cables, 750W+ (Not higher then 1000W), and preferably Platinum or higher 80 Plus rating? Gold is acceptable as well, but anything under that is a no go.

The reason I have issues I believe is due to the fact that I have a full ATX tower - which it seems a lot of PSUs are mainly intended for smaller cases.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for responding! I don't have the full measurements right now, as I'm currently at work as of me creating this thread. I do however have some further information if it can help.

The previous case I had issues with was the NZXT Phantom (full ATX version), and a fairly cheapo 650W power supply from a brand that I cannot remember at the moment. The motherboard was a full ASrock Extreme3 Gen3 series. I forget the rest of the title, but it was the newest available when I purchased my PC, and fit my i7 2600k perfectly.

At the moment, I'm using the same MoBo, but I'm switching it and everything else into a new case ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133223&cm_re=thermaltake_case_full_atx-_-11-133-223-_-Product ). I would like a power supply able to fully reach where it needs to, and with a little more wattage (hence the 750W+ when the original was a 650W)
