Hello, I am buying a tri-x sapphire r9 290, I was doing research and was wondering about my psu and if it will be able to adequatly power this card. My system specs are as follows:

8 gigs of ripjaws ram
western digital 500 gb hdd
3 blue led case fans

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-r9-290-and-2...

Here you can see that it is around 350 Watts.

Tho i would defo get a better psu when i got the cash to spare.

Your CPU draws around 75(idle)-150(load) Watts (according to test results).

It will be a somewhat relatively close call tho

Edit: added load CPU watt draw
