I have run: ccleaner, malwarebytes antimalware, MSE, then disabled, and then AVG, Superantispyware, combofix, speedtest.net (speed at pkg max-3.0), ncleaner, secunia PSI, HTJ, spybot, checkdrive, adwcleaner, with no deletion fixes and/or nothing worse than 2-3 pups.

My internet Explorer 11 runs so intermittently that voices drag almost like stuttering-a word is drawn out for 4-5 seconds. Most pages either take 30-60 seconds to open or just don't come up, with "page not available", even though in the compatibility list. WLMail opens fairly quickly, but actual emails open slowly and typing emails lag and miss letters if I type fast. Word 2010 opens slowly, and typing is just like stuttering. I dare not type fast here either. But not doing this here and now. I have a fairly new Cisco router and bridge.

Has been doing this for several months, been in contact with ISP, am on wireless broadband, can't think of anything else to try...well maybe reinstall windows 7 on a new HD and use existing HD as depository. Sound feasible? Not sure how to do that though. Does anyone have other ideas to try?

Thanks very much.

Solution
Last part sounds very feasible.. If you have the Windows 7 DVD, just recover the Product Key with Keyfinder to activate the new installation...

If you don't have the DVD, you would have to make a clone image to install on the new HD, but.. the clone would have the same issues, the only possible chance of solving the problem is if the HD is the cause.

With the DVD you could try a Repair installation (Upgrade Mode) and you may solve it, or you may not, even solve it temporarily.

Another possible solution is running the System File Checker "SFC /Scannow" typed in a Command Prompt window and the DVD in the drive... SFC will scan the OS and replace any corrupted or missing system files.

Those are your repair or install options...

You may also want to run Hard Disk Sentinel to check the Hard Drive condition

Hard Disk Sentinel (standard) v4.50 (ZIP)
http://www.hdsentinel.com/download.php

If the problem persists, it may be a hardware issue... if a PC, replace the Power Supply.. if a laptop, battery or power adapter is a suspect but from what I can make of it, it's probably a PC, right?

hi there just a thought Explorer 11 and i have had a big fall out after i found out there is a bug in it that does not like google tool bar you need to run the Explorer in a cinda safe mode so do this

open your program window - all programs - accessories - system tools - internet Explorer (no add ons)
Explorer will now run with nothing running in the background see how it goes if this fix your problem then you need to start closing add ons till the problem is sorted :)
