Atheros L2 Fast Ethernet 10100Base-T Controller doesnot work when i insert my lan cabel it doesnot recognize but the lan cable work i n my laptop

If you posted more details about the issue more people would be able to help, all I can suggest right now is to make sure that the drivers for that controller are installed and updated.
