I think i need to upgrade from my "old" HD 7970 GHZ edition to a new SLI build. I already have two Dell u2312hm screens and im going to buy the Asus pg278q when it gets in the stores in July. What SLI setup would be best for to game on the Asus screen?

What is your budget? And also, is there any reason you need sli, because a single gtx 780 would most likely be more than enough.

You could also just buy a second 7970/280x and use crossfire.

if i were you i would get a dual gpu card...much better and it will actualy take advantage of the whole ram...minimal frame stuttering

A dual you card will throttle back sooner than a dual card setup would and will use it's VRAM in the exact same way, so no advantage at all really.

I domt have a spesific budget. Im not gonna buy a titan, im thinking more like 780 sli or 770 sli.. What are youe opinions on thosetwo sli setups? The reason i want nvidia is because of the pg278q's g-sync and wont 1440p and 144hz take some requierement of the graphic card(s)?

Either GTX 770 4gb or the gtx 780 would be your best options ( without spending $1400 for sli 780 ti that is). the 780's will be about 20-30% faster, you would be much more likely to hit the 144 fps needed to meet the monitors max refresh rate with them (although the monitor is g-sync ready so any refresh rate over 60 should look good without tearing or stuttering).
