So the mb in my computer died. The computer was a cyberpower built when windows 7 was released so I put it at oike 5 years old. The psu was replaced 3 years ago and I put in

CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply & New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell

so I dont have a lot of money right now. I fugure its north worth finding an old mb to replace since the computer has been getting slower anyways so I have two options.

Get a new cyberpower for 700-800 ish or save my case, ps, and hd and just get a new mb, cpu, ram, and video card. Could I get a reasonable system for under 500 saving those parts? What components woukd I get? Or is it not worth putting new parts with a 3 year old ps? I only really play d3 some, so it doesnt nees to be a powerhouse, just a little oomph to handle games like thst or wow types.

Thanks for any feedback, I appreciate any opinions on the matter!

the case doesnt but the fans inside can if you let them gather dust and dont clean em.
the dust cases drag the drag causes the fins to slow the motor which then creates more heat around the bearings, which wears them out.

theres also ventilation to consider higher end parts tend to run warmer for longer. so if the case has limited fan mounts the heat inside will take longer to transfer outside which will cause the internals to run hotter than they need to and in some cases can cause a greenhouse effect where you can get cold air in fast enough or get ridd of the warm so temps just keep climbing till the system shuts...

or you might find that keeping most of the set up u have might be benificial if you deside to start modding your case in any way. youll have metal chassis etc to use in conjunction with new build if you need extrta fanage or to change spots os psu's or creating custom looks.
