Will my Hard Drive and Ram work on my new Motherboard?
Beadarrian
I'm getting a new Motherboard:
ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
My old one was:
M5A78L-M LX PLUS
I am wondering if my old Hard Drive and Ram will still be compatible with the new motherboard. Neither the Ram or the HDD are old.
The Hard Drive is:
Seagate ST3750528AS
Its a 750GB 7200 RPM 3G/S Sata
I know that my current Motherboard only has 3G/S Sata connections and the new one I think only has 6G/S Sata connections and my question is basically, is that okay? To have my 3G/S HDD plugged into 6G/S connections.
The ram is more likely to be compadible but just in case I will ask anyway.
Its some kingston 1333mhz ram that I bought just a couple months ago.
What do you think?
