Hi guys, well heres another noob who wants to update his graphics card. I went to frys electronics and the guy recommended a radeon r7 240. The problem is it is a 400 wt recommendation and i only have 300. Would it still work or should i return it? And my plan is not really for gaming but i want to be able to put movies on my computer and watch connecting it to my tv using an hdmi cable or vga. What graphics card would you recommend for watching movies using a dual monitor set up? I hope i can et the answer today so i can teturn it and know what to get

The r7 240 should be fine as long as your Powersupply can supply 12Amps on the 12volt Rail, which is VERY low amperes by todays standards.

Gaming,cards require +30amps.

Take a pic of the sticker on the side of your PSU or just tell me the make and model,i can clear it up.

There i posted a picture. But like i said im not really going to be playing on this as we will just use this like a dvd player on the living room connected to a tv. This pc has integrated graphics so it kinda looks bad thats why i want to change it. Or does it not matter because im only going to view on the tv? And i want on that will not heat up fast because i will be watching a lot of movies online so if anyone can recommend a graphics card that is not for gaming that supports like 1080p or something less than 70 bucks
