PC not powering on?!?!?!

Guys i have an urgent question, my pc was built like a month ago and it was working fine until i decide to tunr it off and open it to clean with air duster put everything back together. but when i try power on nothing happens, everything is connected well no problems with mobo and everything is secure. i tried just about everything then i noticed a very faint orange light on power gutton what does that mean? is my powerslupply bad? ( Custom butilt pc) power supply: Inland ATX Gold series 500 watt

I don't think we have enough data to tell you definitely whats wrong.

PSU failing could be the culprit, but its odd for a PSU to fail so soon (only 1 month old?).

The PSU wattage alone doesn't tell the total power situation; do you know how much your components are drawing? Since it sounds like you've already taken things apart, could you pull out your video card and start it up again? Thats likely a big draw, so if your PSU is struggling to supply enough power, that might allow it to statup.

There are people who can tell you how to test a PSU with a voltmeter, but thats beyond me. I also think it only tells you if the unit is not completely dead...it could still test fine, but fail under load...

Do you have another PSU you can swap for testing purposes?

Unplug from wall. Re-attach and try again.

Guys thanks for the fast replies but I idk what the problem was all I did was move a stick of ram to the other channel so i plugged everything back and powered on normally. BUT now again like a month or 2 later I rerouted the cables and plugged everything but wont turn again like other time. IM MAD LOL
