I got virtualbox yesterday so I got an .iso for windows xp. When I installed windows xp and everything I wasn't connected to the internet, so I went to network connections and it's completely blank. I've looked around and tried to fix this but so far nothing has worked, so I was hoping someone here could help me. (Note: The printers & faxes manager is doing the same thing)

This is what it looks like

Then there's printers & faxes doing the same thing

With your virtual machine powered off, in the Virtual Box program, go to the Settings of your VM, then click on the left-hand side on Network. This tab allows you to specify how the network works. Of course your host operating system has to have a valid network port in order to pass it through to the virtual machine.

Make sure to put a checkmark next to "Enable Network Adapter". Set the "Attached to" to "NAT".
