Hi my graphic card is 6850 xfx with 775 mhz core clock and 1000 mhz memory clock.
But a version above me is 6850xfx black edition with 820 MHz core clock and 1100 Mhz memory clock .
If I oc mine to 820 mhz core click and 1100 mhz memory clock my graphuc card damaged?
I do it with catalyst overdrive.
Should I do this or shouldn't?

You can overclock your GPU to value in which OCing remains stable. No issue there. Until or Unless your OC is stable it will not harm the GPU. Generally, OCing reduces the life of the components which is why a good cooling solution is a must.

there's always a risk, but as long as your voltage and temps aren't excessive, it should be fine.

I ran my HD 6850s at 1000/1200 for about 2 years before I sold them to a friend. They had really crappy Sapphire coolers too.

It depends on several things:

1) The GPU (they aren't all equal)

2) The Graphics card cooling solution (A higher-clocked HD6850 often manages this because it has a more expensive cooler)

Really, all you can do in the end is try it. If you get crashing or artifacts then back off on the overclock/volt.

OP: You can overclock your GPU. Don't make a start jump of increase say 100MHz. Best approach for overclocking is to proceed incrementally like +10-15MHz at a time and then run stress test, if no artifacts appear or no crash of drivers occur then add more MHz. Continue till either artifacts start to appear or the drivers start to crash. Value before the crash/artifact is the max to which you can overclock.

You can do it with Catalyst or MSI afterburner. How much it would overclock to depends upon your card's chipset and its cooling system.

If I increase core clock and memory clock with my catalyst over drive my voltage doesn't change?

You can increase the power factor for effective overclocking.
