Hi all.

I am looking at purchasing a second GTX560Ti to put in to SLI in my system and was wondering if the Thermaltake 700W litepower(LT-700AL2NL) is strong enough to safely handle the SLI setup without risk of damage to the components.

My current system is as follows:
CPU: Core i7-2600 (Stock cooler with Turbo Boost off)
RAM: 3x2GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM
HDD: 3x 7200RPM Sata drives (1x Sata3.0 and 2xSata2)
OPTICAL: 1xDVD R/RW
FANS: 4xLED 120mm FANS.
GPU: Leadtech GTX 560 Ti
PSU: Thermaltake 700w Litepower
System age: Closing in on 3 years

So what do you all reckon? Too much of a risk running the rig in SLI with that power supply?

I'd obviously much rather get a better GPU off the bat but budget constraints are preventing me from getting anything I see as worthwhile so this SLI is really what I'd prefer.

It has 52A combined, so not sure it'll be enough for 2 GTX 560 Ti.
If you can sell your gpu and buy something newer, it could use same or even less power and have up to +50% performance.
Or cheaper option is to sell that PSU and find one with more Amps.
