Hello friends first heres my sys spec
Amd A10 6800k with stock heatsink
Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-HD2 (rev. 1.0) with latest BIOS and all latest drivers
Kingston DDR3 1600mhz (4*2) 8 GB ram
Zotac Nvidia GTX 660 2GB
Cooler Master 650W powersupply

I am in mumbai India and the ambient temp of the room is 32 to 35 degrees but my cpu idles at 65 to 70 degrees i have both the side panels open and a chasis fan installed as well by cooler maser 120mm. I have reassembled the whole system and applied thermal paste as well. Worst part is while playing games like NFS Rivals and Crysis 3 the Cpu goes as high as 120 degress celsius I dont know what to do this is a brand new processor was running A8 5300 which never heated so much. Heres a screenshot of the temp while I was writing this post

What are you using to read your temperatures?

Here's a guide to reading AMD chips, it recommends using your cpu socket temperatures and AMD overdrive as most other software is inaccurate:

the heatsink is seated properly and paste is also not too much does virtualization help in cpu load it shows disabled and i donno how to enable it. also could it be poss that the sensor that detects the temp is bad as when i touch the tower its not that hot as it looks in temps???

thanks a ton for the link even amd overdrive was giving crazy values this low values like 19 to 25 degrees Celsius finally installed tune up utilities and it gives me perfect reading and it idles at 40 degrees and goes upto 70 in heavy games like crysis 3 so its all good here considering the room temp is 35 degrees Celsius

AMD Overdrive uses "thermal margin." The 25 degrees celcius is 25 degrees away from the temperature peak.

So ideally the temps are under control right am confused now please clarify!!!!

AMD Overdrive tells you how far you are away from overheating. So more is better.

well i finally figured the real temps using easy tune 6 in crysis 3 it goes upto 90 degrees celsius am sure thats because its very hot here and in over drive it goes 2 to 3 degrees above thermal margin max !!!!!! is that ok or i should go for liquid cooling also which the cheapest and effective cooler for this cpu please advise

You should really never go above the thermal margin, so yes let's look at cooling options for you. What case do you have?

cooler master elite mini atx! I am thinking of getting the HAF 932

Sounds good, the HAF 932 would fit a cooler master hyper 212 evo which should bring your temps down quite a bit. :)

So couldnt get the 760k here in india hence got the a10 6800k finally crysis 3 works perfect at the highest settings and so do all other games I am planning on getting the HAF 935 Stacker so that in the future I can always use this case for my upgrades. Also whats the best liquid cooler that I can get my budget is $100 for the cooler. i will be overclocking the 6800k to the max stable I can. Also planning to overclock the Zotac GTX 660 I have and I was wondering if the Kingston Valueram DDr3 1600 that I have can be overclocked. The idea is to squeeze the max performance out of the CPU GPU and RAM with a Stable setup and keep it as my primary RIG atleast for 2 years???
