Would this build be good enough for lasting at least 2020?

I'll just use it as my Personal Computer, with probably some games like Watch Dogs. Thanks you very much for answering NBSN. I needed to know if it really would last long. But I have another question, would it be good enough to use OS X Yosemite too? I know that Intel WIFI chips don't work but anything else than that.

In all honesty that CPU is great and should perform well for the next several years. The graphics card is good for now and will probably play games at high settings for 2-3 years minimum, depending on the game, resolution, and fps you are aiming for. If you don't mind playing games at medium settings then it will be good til probably closer to 2018 and maybe low settings by 2020 in more demanding games of that time. It is really hard to say what requirements games will have by then, but knowing that consoles will be stagnate for several years, games that are more multiplatform releases will not see huge system requirements unless they are poorly ported to PCs.

will the computer last? it should. my last system was 10 when i trashed it (due to it being obsolete to because it wasnt functioning 100%)

will it perform well for that whole time is another story. i say you will have 2-3 years of playing on medium-high and another 2-3 playing on medium-low.
