Hey guys.
I'm making this thread in serious desperation over getting this problem fixed, as I have tried almost everything I can single handedly, by doing google searches and so on.

Whenever I play a game, usually doesn't matter too much what title, so long its a newer that requires just a bit of juice, the framerates start acting up really weird.

I can start up a game and it would play smooth for a few minutes, depending.
But then my framerate starts dropping in intervals, 2-5 seconds of fine framerate, then it just dips down to somewhere like 10-15 FPS for just a second, then back up. It keeps doing this.
(It's really different from game to game, some are larger intervals, some are tiny.)

It doesn't happen with all games, but by far most. I've noticed that in some games, if I turn down graphics settings almost all the way, aswell as tamper with the resolution I can make it stop. (CS:GO, for an example)

I originally thought it was my CPU throttling, so I went ahead and installed ThrottleStop, to no avail. (Could be me who set it up wrong?)

My CPU:
i5 3210M 2.5Ghz

Running Windows 7 on a laptop.

I will do my utmost best to provide anyone willing to attempt to troubleshoot and fix this with me, with as much info and detail I can.

What laptop model do you have? The best thing to do would be to turn on GPU monitoring in the ThrottleStop Options window, check off the Log File option and then go play a game. When you are done, exit ThrottleStop and have a look in the ThrottleStop\Logs directory for the log file. Upload this somewhere like www.pastebin.com and thenn post a link here. Also post a screen shot of how you have ThrottleStop setup.

Lots of laptops have various throttling issues. I need to see some data to see if it is CPU throttling related and what might be causing this.
