possible psu problem

hi all first of all sorry if this is the wrong place for some time now when i first turn my pc on there is a sounds like a car engine on tick over it sounds as if it’s coming from the psu after the pc as been on for around 10-20 minutes it stops and sounds normal again i am planning on buying a new pc in September time and if it’s the psu do you think it will last to as i don’t want to spent money on new bits for it if it’s being replaced thanks

What is your full build? That power supply would only output about 250w (assuming that their label is accurate which is unlikely) so if you have any graphics card in your system then it will be too much of a load for this PSU + it is junk and when it fails will probably take other computer parts with it. A decent 500w power supply is going to cost 40+ GBP, finding one for 10GBP is pretty much impossible.
