Solution Wolfshadw Jun 10, 2014 Since your monitor likely only has stereo audio, you likely won't notice a difference. I'm not sure why you want to do this. HDMI and DVI should provide the exact same visual experience, If you REALLY don't want to use HDMI for audio, then just get the 3.5mm stereo cable. -Wolf sends
