Is there anyway to hide the SSID when sharing internet off of a macmini?

I want to hide the SSID broadcast from my macmini while keeping the internet connection open. Is there anyway to do this? Thanks.

Use your router's web-based configuration utility to untick "Broadcast SSID" in the wireless config section.

However, you may wish to read this article which clearly shows that hiding your SSID is rather pointless.
