can SSD's overheat?

i have a samsung evo 840 ssd and i was shock that in normal use like only browsing with a few tabs reached 50 degrees or more when close the lid for my casing it reaches to 65 degrees, currently im having it opened. Is this a problem for SSD's? i know normal HDD's have a max temp of 60 degrees but more then 50 is bad enough.

Yes, they can overheat, however, here is the temperature for the Samsung 480 EVO:

    Operating: 0°C to 70°C
    Non-Operating: -55°C to 95°C

Airflow should keep it within reasonable limits.
