So i was getting low fps for my 770 msi gaming oc edition 30-56 fps in ac4 high msaa 4x 1440x900 wtf why? so i oc'ed the gpu then i started the game and the f**ing pc crashed just my luck then i oc'ed it again this time all to max not only the core clock and memory the core voltage and the power limit this time it didn't crash but there was no fps difference why?

Solution
Because it likely hard crashed as soon as power hit it and it reset everything to the defaults. No way will it EVER boot with all the settings maxed. To overlclock your GPU, you start with the core speed, and make small changes, like 10 mhz at a time. Once you have the highest core speed you can get to without crashing, then you start with the memory speed, Memory is very senstive, do not expect to get very far with the memory, go only like 5 mhz at a time.

Usually most computer parts will shut down before any real damage occurs. I doubt any real damage has occurred.
