My build (when I finally get all the stuff in the mail) is going to have a 200mm front intake, 120mm bottom intake and 120mm rear exhaust. My MB has 1 "power fan" I assume this is to control the psu fan, and 2 case fan headers (besides the cpu fan header of course). Is the best idea for this just to use a splitter on the 2 120mm fans? or should the splitter be on the 2 intake fans?

What motherboard do you have? It's not for the power supply fan, the power supply controls its own fan speed, it's probably just a constant voltage header that doesn't have any user-control. I would keep the intakes together on the splitter, so you can control how much intake you have.

Well, I just got done soldering a splitter together. I tested the connections and it appears that everything that should be connected is and that there are no connections that shouldnt be present. I jut happened to think, though, What will happen to my mother board of any of the 3 wires (x2 fans) short against another?
