Hey everyone, I recently obtained a Nvidia GTX 780ti, and after putting into my computer, I still cannot run games very well. My old 560ti actually ran some some games better. For example, I recently tried playing the Battlefield Hardline beta, and I can only get 25-30 fps, same as on BF4. Even games like Arma 2 and Deus Ex HR run pretty bad, maybe at best securing 40 fps on max settings. I was just wondering how to fix this, as I think my system should be strong enough to handle these games.

SPECS:
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 780ti
Processor: Intel QuadCore i5-2400 @ 3.1GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte P67X-UD3-B3
Ram: 16 GB DDR3

thanks :)

It might be your CPU is slowing you down. Check the CPU utilization. Otherwise the usual delete old drivers and clean registry dance. I am assuming your power supply is good.

I would guess that your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU, because your GPU is definitely not the problem.

@ iwilkilalzmBs,

Try to update the bios from your motherboard and drivers while you're at it.
