Hi all,

I've got a little cash and need to decide on new mobo,RAM,CPU or new GPU. My problem at the moment is that my current system (listed below), cannot handle Rome II.

Here's what GeForce Experience recommends as 'optimal; for my GTX660:
Antialiasing: OFF
Building Details: LOW
Depth of Field: LOW
Distortion Effects: OFF
Grass: LOW
Particle Effects: LOW
Resolution: 1280 x 720 (Native: 1920x1080)
Shader Model: 3
Shadows: LOW
Sky: LOW
SSAO: OFF
Terrain Quality: LOW
Texture Filtering: Trilinear
Texture Quality: LOW

ETC, Either LOW or OFF

The game looks absolutely ridiculous - could something else beyond my GPU be causing this?

My system:

Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit
Asus P8H67
I3-2100
Samsung 840 SSD
8GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 660
Asus Xonar DX2
Samsung S27C450 (27 inch monitor) 60hz
700w PSU

Thanks,
/Aedan

Thanks for that second link, I made sense of the translated quote. I found a youtube video that showed the 660 running at just under 40fps on ultra settings which I can't achieve.

I guess I should upgrade my CPU before my GPU.
