I am running an AMD-8320 at 3.5 GHz; stock speeds. However, when running games that have a fair amount of CPU usage, my CPU heats up to 65 C, which causes it to throttle and set it's clock to ~1.3 GHz for about 5 seconds, about how long it takes to get back to 60 C. This happens every 20 or so seconds, causing my FPS to drop from 60 to less than 10. Any help would be appreciated!

Secondary Monitor: 1280x1024 75 Hertz, used for monitoring CPU/GPU via Rainmeter

How would I properly seat it? Here is what the inside of my case looks like (please excuse the lack of cable managment, this is my first build):

All of the fans are blowing to the left (out the back).

I used Cooler Master Thermal Compound; it came with the cooler. When the computer is open like it is currently, it does run significantly cooler.
