Best WiFi 802.11n adapter? USB/PCI/PCIe

I recently completed my first PC build and I had a cheap USB WiFi adapter laying around and I thought it would work well. But the little piece of junk can't handle my 80 meg down speed and craps out after 50MB of downloads. So I need a new adapter soon but I don't want to buy a junk one. I'm willing to spend $50 on one but I'd like to get a decent one and I know there are a ton of bad ones out there. Please help me pick out one.

Solution
For the best results i'd suggest a power line adapter (basically any will work). It's better latency than comparable wifi adapters and the cheapest ones i've seen have a minimum throughput of 200 Mbps.

Thanks, I got a TP-Link USB adapter and it's rated for 300MB/s and it was only $40! Works a lot better than my old piece of junk.
