I am trying to get internet to my Mother-in-law house (MLH) that is right behind my house.
I tried using a repeater but the signal dropped several times a day no matter the location.
I decided to run a cat 6 wire to the house apx 150 ft.
I have tested the wire and all is well.
I have Comcast as a provider.

Router 1 - WNDR3700v3
Router 2 - WNR2000v3

When I connect from the modem (my house) to a PC at MLH signal is great.
When I try to add a Router at MLH it cant find the signal (Wired).

I have tried both routers and neither work I also tried running in AP / Bridge mode as well.

How is it that direct connect the signal is fine but when I add a router there I have problems?
Is it a cable issue? Modem issue? Router issue? User issue?

Im lost please advise.

Solution
Problem solved.

I went back and rechecked the line and pin 3 was not firing.
I guess when i put it into the jack it came loose.
I fixed the pin and all is well now.

Although it doesn't explain how the computer was able to connect?!?

Oh well! Thanks for all the help!

What "it" doesn't get a connection?

How are you connecting the cable to the MILs router?
Specifically what port are you using? WAN or LAN?
Have you configured the router to serve only as a WiFi access point?

The router does not get a connection.
The light for incoming signal never lights up or will flash on and off.
I am connecting the router into the WAN line.
I have tried several different configurations on the routers.
I can set them up at my house using a 6 ft Ethernet cable and all is well.
When I connect at MLH no signal.
But direct to PC at MLH works so the cable is wired properly.

I am open to any thoughts.

So set it up as an access point but connect it to the LAN?
Are you referring to the output on R1 or the input of R2?

I have tried setting up as an Access point and going out of R1 LAN in into R2 WAN.
and that works when i set all up at my house but when I move it to MLH it fails.
Even just using 1 Router and going from my modem to MLH and the connecting either router does not receive a signal.

R1 LAN into R2 LAN is correct for a basic configuration. Just be aware that MIL, and anyone else that connects at her place, will have access to your entire network. So make sure the WiFi encryption is strong. WPA2 with a long password.

R1 LAN to R2 WAN can be made to work, but it requires a great deal more understanding of IP networking than I have.
