I am looking to upgrade my outdated GT 520. I have the option to upgrade to a GTX 550 ti (used) for ~$25. Do you think it would be worth it? I play CSGO and some other light games. My specs are (nothing has been OC'd):

FX 6300
GT 520
8GB RAM @ 2000mhz
350W PSU
2 x 250GB hard drives
ASUS m5a78l/usb3

Any other information that is needed I can provide. Thanks ahead of time!

Your psu at 350w is probably not strong enough for the GTX550ti.
The GTX550ti needs a 6 pin aux power connector that will not be present on a 350W psu.

Here is a list of what you can get for your psu:

I would get the 750 ti it should work with your psu and allow you to play games at 1080p.
It that or replace your psu it not strong enough to work with the GTX550 ti

Hi - As Geo said you need a little more power for that card, but since it's only $25 and you can get a new
430w PSU for $20, you might want to consider going that route. A nice upgrade for less than $50.
