how many usb 3.0 does it have, 2? in the specs it says on the real panel it has two usb 3.0 ports and three usb 2.0 ports

but lower it says on the Internal I/O Connectors it has two usb 3.0 ports and six usb 2.00 ports.
So does that mean in all together it comes with 4 usb 3.0 and 9 usb 2.0 ports? or are the ones in internal I/O connectors not reachable.

Excuse my noobness

On the products homepage here it says:

Up to 14 USB 2.0/1.1 ports (8 ports on the back panel, 6 ports available through the internal USB headers)
Up to 4 USB 3.0/2.0 ports (2 ports on the back panel, 2 ports available through the internal USB header)

So on the back of the case it has 10 USB ports in total. Eight USB 2.0, and two USB 3.0. The internal header USB are typically for the front of your case, but it's also possible to add more usb ports to the back of your case using those headers as well. Some motherboards come with the attachment (note that these attachments will also block one of your PCI slots when installed) or you can buy them as well. They look like this

It has 2x USB 3.0 ports on the back of the motherboard. They are the blue usb ports.

It also has a USB 3.0 Header at the bottom right hand corner of the board, in between the usb 2.0 header and the Front panel header. If your case has a usb 3.0 cable then you can connect that there. That should give you 2 more front panel USB 3.0 connections.

So yes, there are the possibility of 4 USB 3.0 (if your case comes with the cable or you add one).

Thanks for response guys. I'm starting to understand. Question. I'm building a gaming PC and thinking of using this mother board with a FX8350 AMD processor. How important is it to have USB 3.0 ports on your pc for future upgrades? Should I look for another MB with more 3.0 ports or is this enough?

Depends on how many USB devices you are plugging into your computer. I would say 4 is plenty. You can easily unplug one device to plug another in. Most likely you won't be using all of the ports at the same time.
