Won't get power or anything. I bought a new PSU, and still does not start. I checked all the wires, and the are all hooked up. The wall outlet is good too. It's on "I"... The motherboards LED's do not turn on or anything. The PSU fan does not spin either. I check PSU, and it works good, but I still thought maybe it was the PSU. So I went out and purchased a brand new one, and it still doesn't do anything.

I was just playing a game the other night, and all of a sudden my PC just shut off. It would not turn back on or anything. There was a burning smell. What could it be?

Any ideas???

sounds like to me either a loose connection somewhere via your vga or your actual psu main power, I had to rig mine to stay seated properly and im using a corsair rm1000

That wouldn't explain why it made the burning smell though, would it?

or another idea suggestion would be if it really was the wall outlet? perhaps the outlet itself is not "Hot" enough to handle the voltage, and if im not mistaken i think certain psu's have built in failsafes that turn themselves off if something goes wrong to prevent damage, even more so is your psu set to the US setting instead of European? not sure if this matters just throwing ideas out there for you
