So I'm deciding what TV to get for my PS4. I have heard things about 100hz tv causing input lag and 50 hz tv being fine. So first of all do all 100 HZ tv cause lag, and is this even true? If not can 100 hz TV still play ps4 games at 30 and 60 fps alright?

Thanks in advance. :D

If you have a 100hz TV, it should also support being run at 50hz, and when connected to a PS4, it should continue to run at 50hz (or 60hz as it may support other refresh rates). You definitely do not want it to be in 100hz mode, as it doesn't accept 100 FPS of info, and instead applies a calculation to create additional frames, which does cause latency.

So does that mean once I get my 100 hz TV, I will have no problems since it will switch it to 50/60 hz already when connected to a ps4? Thanks for response btw.

It should do it automatically, but it may require you to turn that mode off on the TV itself.
