Do most components have a bus?

Just wondering, do most important components have a bus that connects to the CPU? Like the Graphics card, memory, USB, HDMI etc. Just wondering how data is transferred to the CPU. Thanks.

That's what the motherboard does.
The GPU does not talk directly to the CPU, but rather it talks to the motherboard which talks to the CPU.
