I have a tablet with 4.4.2 andriod and a 1 terabyte WD external hard drive. The hard drive is partitioned into a 500 gig fat32 and a 500ntfs. When I plug it into my tablet via micro adaptor and browse using es explorer I can only see the fat32 partion and not the ntfs one. Is there an app that can see both partitions of an external hard drive so I can copy between them?

Solution

you cant use both at the same time
you have to either make it fully into nfts or fully into fat32
so here is a link how to format ur while drive into fat 32 so u can use the full 1tb

That is pretty dumb Android can’t do this considering my Samsung blue-ray player can see both partitions and play movies from either one. My raspberry-pi running xbmc can also see and play from both partitions. P.S. if I'm smart enough to create and dual partition hard drive don't you think I wouldn't need a tutorial on how to format it?
