Just wondering if it's ok to run both an nvidia geforce gtx 550 ti and a geforce gtx 660 in sli with this psu:
http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=17-153-167

It says it's sli/crossfire ready but I don't think it's 80+ certified. Would I be ok with this psu? I'm not wanting to buy another one.

SLI Ready usually refers to your motherboard; in that it actually supports the SLI feature.

For SLI, you need two roughly identical GPUs. By roughly identical, I mean they have to be the same GPU, but they can be from different manufacturers.

Oooh ok thank you. I just had that 550 to from another computer and I thought it was identical enough. But I guess not thanks going to the store to buy another 660.

Just one question though, would that psu support the two 660's??

The mobo I have is cfx/sli ready so I don't think I'll have any problems.

Well, just browsing the web, the recommended wattage is about 700. But seeing as a system with a single GTX 660 only needs 24A, and being generous, adding a second 660 (assuming absolute max load) will need about ~20A. So technically, you could get away with using a 550W PSU, as long as it has at least 44A. But you never want to run a PSU at full load, so I'd suggest a -good- 650W unit.

two 660's need 600w for the pc.

Get a Seasonic 620 or XFX 650
