Rev 1 and Rev 2 Ram

Hey, I have 2 sticks of laptop ram 4 gigs each ddr3, I am wondering if they will work together. One is rev 1 and the other is rev 2. They are from the same laptop company and on same models with slightly different componets. Will they work together? Thanks for help in advanced.

They could have different ICs. Mixed RAM will have mixed results, but I'm sure you can get them to work, even if it means downclocking them a bit.
