I have 2 R9 290X`s and im going to use 1 of them to add the first 3 monitors and im not sure which cables I should use . My asus 27" monitors have HDMI , DISPLAY PORT ,DVI-D , D SUB and my r9 290x has 1 of each , so would I use hdmi , dvi-d and displayport ? im worried of getting un even graphics\ sound while gaming . I`m ordering my 3rd and want to order the 3rd cable with it , now heres my dilemma , I can get same 27" monitor size but with 1 m/s response could I put that one in middle and use the 2 m/s response for outers , would I notice any difference , or should I just stick with all 3 the same ?

Solution
Monitors that are the same are best.

Even with normal desktop work unmatched monitors can show different input lag when dragging a program from one to the other.

I do not think VGA will be supported for Eyefinity. DVI + HDMI + DP will work for sure.
